Regular visits to Epping High Dental to see our dentist Lalor are important in helping to maintain clean teeth, healthy gums, fresh breath and a beautiful smile. Everyone knows that it is important to visit the dentist at least every six months, however, a small percentage of the adult population here in Australia are recorded as doing so. Most people only visit the dentist when they are troubled by dental issues and many people avoid the dentist altogether. Dentistry and dental treatments and procedures have evolved significantly over the last few decades. Extensive dental treatment can be carried out using non-invasive procedures with minimal discomfort, almost no bleeding and excellent recovery. It is important that you speak to our dentist Lalor to discuss your dental requirements and your personal needs so that you can find out how we can help you here at our practice.
We look forward to welcoming new patients all the time. At your first appointment, we will find out as much as we can about you, your medical history and your lifestyle. We will speak to you and find out how you feel about your dental health and the appearance of your smile and what you would like from us regarding a bright new smile for the future.
Clear aligners
Our dentist Lalor is trained in invisible orthodontics for you to address your dental needs at your discretion. Invisible orthodontics have proven highly popular amongst the adult population. If you are looking to address the aesthetic issues of your teeth, then it is more than likely that you do not want to draw further attention to your mouth, therefore, invisible orthodontics may be the ideal solution for you. Invisible orthodontics work using clear, thermoplastic aligners which are individually designed and tailored to be worn in your mouth and provide gradual pressure to push your teeth into a neater formation. Invisible orthodontics are suitable for those suffering from mild or moderate misalignment issues of the teeth.
Here at the practice we offer two types of invisible orthodontic aligners. We are pleased to offer Invisalign which is the world’s most popular teeth straightening system or we can offer you Smilestyler which is Australia’s very own brand of clear orthodontic aligners. Both are highly successful at correcting mild or moderate misalignment issues of the teeth.
Complex orthodontic cases are better treated using traditional fixed braces. These are made up of brackets and wires which are attached to the surface of your teeth and gradually pull them into a neater alignment over a long period of time. There are different types of fixed braces and we encourage you to book an appointment for your children with the orthodontist for braces at an early age, so that you can help pave the way for good dental health later on in life. Speak to our dentist Lalor today and find out more about teeth straightening at the surgery, as well as the full range of treatments on offer, and improve the health and appearance of your smile for the future.
All treatment carries risks. Individual consultation is required with one of our practitioners to ensure that the treatment is right for you.
